Energy & Egyptian Meditation Healing

Egyptian Chakras Healing

Charkas
Charkas are not part of either an Acient Egyptian tradition but from my perspective they exist and working with their energy has always been a vital part of my tradition. The Pharaos has done some work with the what appears to be the authentic system of the three cauldrons and I'll add material about that as I go along (the three lower Chakra are grouped into the first cauldron, the fourth and fifth the second cauldron and the sixth and seventh are the third cauldron). .
Traditionally there are seven vital Charkas which can be referred to as the charkas. We were doing some work with and additional 8 charkas which she locates on the emotional body and that she refers to as the Hara charkas. I initially discovered them myself when I began working with Amber Wolf's personal alchemy book.

Egyptian Meditation

Introduction
Meditation is a mental practice in which the mind is directed to one area or one point of operation. There are many forms of meditation (Native American, Tibetan, Buddhist, Yogic, etc.) and the techniques used can vary considerably. While some people practice meditation in conjunction with spiritual practices, it is often practiced in Western countries because of its potential for profoundly positive effects on one's physical and psychological well-being.

Because 1) meditation techniques are relatively easy to learn and not some esoteric, New Age practice (requiring a "guru"), and 2) can provide significant positive benefits, it is very quickly growing in popularity in Western countries. Practitioners of meditation include the rich and poor, actors/actresses, athletes, business persons, scientists, physicians and other medical practitioners, etc.

Benefits
"Meditation helps to bring harmony and inner peace. It makes a person feel centered, grounded, and stable. Through meditation we can go into the center of awareness and stay there. It is like being back in the womb of the mother. Meditation not only brings balance to the body, mind, and consciousness, it helps to balance the three doshas [Ayurvedic Medicine term]. Meditation is the single greatest healing factor within the Ayurvedic system of medicine. We say 'Our medication is meditation.'" [Excerpt from Sounds True interview with Ayurvedic Medicine expert, Dr. Vasant Lad. Ayurvedic Medicine is one of the world's oldest systems of Holistic Medicine.]

Scientific research has shown that meditation practice, by itself is helpful in treating Epilepsy, Blood Pressure Disorders, Low Self-Esteem and Other Behavior/Psychologic Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Chronic Pain, and other physical and psychological diseases/disorders.

A selection of the general benefits include (but are not limited to):
- Deep Inner Peace
- Improved Self-Esteem, Self-Control, and Orderliness
- Improved Sleep
- Increased Creativity
- Physical Health/Healing
- Psychological Health/Healing
- Reduced Medical Care
- Slowing or Reversal of Aging

Yoga Exercise

Yoga -- This is a wonderful practice for stress reduction and profound healing.
Yoga is a science of life that originated in India several thousands of years ago. It involves much more than the asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) that most people are familiar with. For this chapter, however, I will limit my discussion of yoga to those aspects -- asanas and pranayama -- also known as Hatha Yoga.

Yoga is enjoying growing popularity in Western countries. Most of you reading this are aware of its use as a powerful stress reduction technique. A quick review of my New England (US) Holistic Health Directory shows that as of 1990 yoga classes are being offered at five area hospitals. Yoga is quickly becoming a mainstream tool for stress reduction.

While it is exciting that yoga is quickly is becoming synonymous with "stress reduction," it is that and so much more. Practiced regularly, over an extended period of time, it is a very powerful healing and transformational tool.

Yoga is only just beginning to be studied by the Western scientific community. Below are a selection of findings from a few of the completed scientific studies.
Several studies have shown that yoga significantly improves the condition of bronchial asthmatics, even patients who were childhood asthmatics. Many subjects eventually reduced or eliminated their need for medication.

Spiritual Trips

The Aura is the energy the Soul emanates. Some people refer to this as electromagnetic energies. This is suspended around the human body in an oval shaped field referred to as the 'auric body'. The size of the auric body differs from person to person due to the level of spiritual growth that person is experiencing or the type of awareness they have. It's an energy field that exists while we are alive.
The importance of our Aura cannot be ignored as it's in constant exchange with all forms of energy whether man-made or natural. At the same time it reveals the health and emotional state of a person. People with the ability of clairvoyance can read a person like a book as the Aura contains the past, present and future thoughts, as well as the feelings and actions that a person has. Aurically, we all give and take what we need without question or conscious recognition, from whatever energy source is in close contact.
The human energy field is composed of the seven auric bodies which are translucent and colorful, appearing much like the colors in a rainbow, only more subtle in intensity. Below is a table of all auric bodies with a brief description including an estimate size of each layer, starting from the closest to the physical self and ending with the outermost layer.
